I tried this on item at the mall which cleared up my sinuses. It was like a hot pad that your breathed in the fumes of and it immediately. It kind of smelt like flowers.

Does anyone know what I am talking about?

My sinuses have been clogged for several days and I’m tired of the headaches. My nose is clear, but I have pressure behind my eyes and cheeks. Is there a good way to draw all of the gunk out?
I have a neti pot and it cleans my nose out, but not the deep sinuses.

type of onion: red onion you dont have to eat it like this, but you can cook with it too and that would help to clear things up. this is something that i tried out that seemed to work for me without having to take medicine. i was on the last edge and i had some type of weird flu that had a choke hold on me. i didn’t want to take any pills so figured i could look up natural ways to cure my dilemma and this is what work best for me although i did not eat the whole onion.

So I was fine yesterday morning,and by evening I was sneezing my brains out..but I went for a jog anyway,jogged about 7km and walked 4 km back with groceries.. I want to do the walk/jog again today,but wanted to know if it’d be okay,considering I’ve been sneezing a lot?Somehow running and exercise makes me able to breathe easier,my nose feels clearer for a bit, should I go ahead with it?

P.S – I currently live in Singapore,so the weather’s pretty damn warm all the time,it’s not cold or anything..just some minor drizzles out

Any advice would be great!

My sinuses are clogged today and I am getting a sinus headache. I would prefer not to have to take any medicine, what else can I do?

Try saline nose drops. Salt, warm water, mix few drops in each nostril. Should temporarily help.

Question by BillBobJoe: I’m not feeling sick, but my sinuses are clogged, when I blow my nose, its not phlegm its just kind of clear?
When I blow my nose, it bleeds sometimes, not a lot at all, when I stick tissue up there it isn’t a constant running stream of blood, more like I irritated a certain area. Being that winter is coming, and the weather is changing is this affecting my sinuses?I am under the impression that allergies are only in the spring.I’m worried something else is wrong.Any ideas?

It could be your nose and sinuses are dry. I get that during this time of year. If your sinuses are clogged, l would try using a saline spray for your nose. Allergies are not only for the spring, as my mom has a lot of problems this time of year. They are beginning to pick things like corn and beans. The dust it creates, causes all sorts of problems for the sinuses. There is also something called Ester-C, it’s buffered vitamin c (so it’s less irritating to the stomach), it really helps with my mom’s allergies, and she has bad allergies.
